I never can resist a bargain so a magazine costing £2.50 I could not look pass. I saw DARE magazine were giving away up to £16 worth of samples if you buy the magazine. Now this is the thing where you need to be careful "UP TO" with the excitement of getting £16 worth of products for £2.50 I could not purchase quick enough. With the magazine I received a Makeup Revolution highlighter, charcoal toothpaste, Garnier face scrub, Aussie hair treatment and best of all a Colgate toothbrush :)

Although I am finding it difficult to comprehend how these

products add up to £16, for £2.50 I am not going to complain. The sample I have used most so far is the Garnier 3 in 1 face scrub which acts as a cleanser, exfoliant and mask. If you keep up to date with my Instagram you will know that I have had problems with my skin. My skin has always been very sensitive throughout my whole life and I have always struggled to find products that are suitable for my skin which will not cause me to transform into a tomato within 30 seconds-that really is not a good look. I have had severe allergic reactions to acne cream which practically burnt my skin as peroxide was one of the chemicals in it which again was really not a good look. This has left my skin quite dry which is frustrating as I really enjoy doing my makeup which can add to the problem.

However now my skin is starting to get better and the Garnier 3 in 1 cleanser has been a god send particularly in this miraculous heat in the UK at the moment. The scrub leaves my face feeling smooth and toned and most importantly does not automatically turn me into a tomato. So paying £2.50 for this shows how the purchase was really worth it.

My second favourite product is most probably the Makeup Revolution Skin Kiss highlighter, girls and guys YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH HIGHLIGHT OK...the more blinding your face is the better- well that is my motto anyways. I have previously used the makeup revolution highlighter in golden lights for the last 3 years and at £3 i have had no complaints. This highlight has a pearly pigment which is perfect for an icy look- with a bit of shine on your face you will literally embody an ice queen no matter how sweaty you may feel in this abnormal summer heat (thanks climate change). This highlight is in the shade "ice kiss" which is on sale for £5.

The charcoal toothpaste is also a decent product, now I have never really brought into the whole charcoal trend as I have been worried about the effects on my skin. Also I have been reluctant due to the amount of "celebrities" promoting teeth whitening products with their 10% off on Instagram...no shade intended . Saying that I thought I would give it a try to review .I wouldn't say its terrible and I wouldn't say its the best toothpaste I have ever used( I do not know what is to be fair) but it does taste really nice so if you're into eating toothpaste great for you I guess.

The Aussie 3 minute colour treatment definitely makes your hair feel softer, I personally haven't dyed my hair in over 3 years but my hair is quite damaged on the ends( I am in need of a trim lets face it). As this is only a sample it is difficult to tell its lasting affect on your hair. However for the few washes I have used ,it 100% adds a bit of life to your hair and resurrects it from the dryness it once was.

Last but certainly not least the toothbrush... well I have not yet opened the toothbrush as I have a perfectly intact toothbrush and am not ready to depart with my sparkly pink one just yet. If you really do wish for a review of this tooth brush please do tell and your wish is my demand but for now I am sure its a perfectly standard toothbrush suitable for your teeth. BIG UP COLGATE.

I have linked all products within the pictures so feel free to click away and try for yourself! Let me know how you get on!

looks + love always, Layla
