As you all probably know today is Wednesday 14th February 2018, which also happens to be Valentines day.
Valentines day is a bit like the marmite of the holidays- you either love it or hate it because of love- ironic.
I find that people always struggle to find the perfect Valentines outfit so here I have merged 3 different looks into one post to cover all bases for the supposed day of love.
Look One
'Pink to make you wink'
Now pink is arguably the most feminine colour on the spectrum- so choosing an all pink outfit for Valentines seems fitting. Although dressed in all pink playing up to the stereotype of women, the choice of top argues otherwise. Wearing this top will give you the confidence to get whatever YOU want this Valentines Day-who is going to argue with a feminist, right?(sarcastic political reference :) ).Paired with a pleather skirt that comes with the nicest zip detail- this look is one to reckon with this Valentines.

Look details:
Top: Pretty Little Thing (£11)
Skirt: Primark (£8)
Look Two
'Vinyltines Day'
Now this look gives a more grungy feel to Valentines Day. This look works on layers- in this case layers of mesh. The statement item of this look is definitely the mesh bodysuit- I was rushing around good ole Primark and happened to stumble across the last one in stock, I just could not leave it there by itself. The embroidered roses embody Valentines Day in just a bodysuit plus, who doesn't want roses embroidered across your gals. With this look I have thrown over a mesh shirt to give it that extra grunge feel to the romantic holiday of the season. On the bottom half I have put the mesh pieces with a black vinyl skirt- with vinyl being the material of the moment it would be completely unfair to not include it in my Valentines look - PLUS vinyl never fails to make an outfit look relatively sexy which of course is perfect for Valentines Day. Using the Primark version of the Gucci belt(your girl certainly does not have the funds) I have tied this outfit together to create the grungy but certainly sexy Valentines look.

Look details:
Body suit: Primark (£10)
Mesh shirt: New Look (£15)
Vinyl skirt: Primark (£3 - originally £8)
Belt: Primark (£3)
Look three
'Red red,mine'
If you really want to make it clear that you are the queen of Valentines Day then look no further than a little red dress. I am usually not the biggest fan of asymmetric clothing but I could not look past this dress. I love the neckline on the dress because it is not overly revealing however the straps allow you to alter to your liking. The dress sits nicely considering it is asymmetric as I find they can sit awkwardly on your body which is not the best look for anyone.
Pair this dress with heels to your desire and there you have Valentines wrapped up in a little red dress.

Look details:
Dress: Missguided (£22)
Whether you are loved up with your significant other, have secured someone significant enough for Valentines or just significantly single.Valentines is another excuse to dress up to your liking and buy as much chocolate for yourself as possible. I hope everyone has a good Valentines Day whatever you get up to - I am off to a concert tonight so I will post my Valentines concert look tomorrow -
looks + love always, Layla.
