Now mustard is not only a colour,it is also a sauce and legend has it, you can never have too much sauce- SO you can never have too much mustard in your wardrobe.
Usually associated with Autumn/Winter mustard has been able to stretch itself to Spring/Summer ,lucky for me because I am a big mustard fan.
Through this I have styled mustard into three different looks to show the versatility of the colour and to show how easy it is to wear a shade of yellow which some may be hesitant to consider- mustard is a MUST have.
Look One:
'Mustard on Mustard'
Here I have teamed a mustard turtle neck top with a pleather mustard biker jacket to create the ultimate mustard look. With this I have paired a houndstooth mini skirt to tie the look together-quite literally. To finish the look I have teamed it with a blue iridescent back pack and a pair of shades because although its winter, all that yellow is blinding. This outfit brings in mustard with one of the most wanted patterns of the moment-a look perfect for the soon to be spring days.

Look details:
-Top: Primark (sale for £2 lul)
-Skirt: New look (£15.99)
-Jacket: Quiz (£39.99)
-Bag: Primark (£9)
-Glasses: Primark (£3)
Look Two
'Must(ard) keep warm'
Lets be perfectly honest with each other...it is still winter after all so keeping a jumper within reach is probably the most responsible thing to do even though we all want to be in loose fitting attire ready for the sun -mustard brings the summer into winter. Again with this look I have used the houndstooth skirt with the mustard, but this time in the form of a chenille jumper- lets take a moment to appreciate the material of the moment. Chenille has owned the texture crown this Winter, creating cosy looks throughout the cold season. Here for the ultimate cute but saucy(pardon the pun)winter look, I have teamed some grey thigh high boots to create the complete winter look.

Look details:
-Jumper: Primark(£10)
-Skirt: New Look (£15.99- same as above)
-Boots: Public Desire (£49.99- managed to get them for £10 in the sale)
Look Three
'Must(ard) keep classy'
The two previous looks have been more casual and definitely mustard orientated so here is something a little more reserved and a little more dressy, because we all know a nice top and jeans is the go to outfit if in doubt- so here is my mustard inspired look.
Although the mustard is very minimal with this look, teaming the rest of the outfit with all black makes the mustard pop without being the main colour overall. I have just thrown on a black aviator jacket and to tie the look together a belt to add a tad of glam.

Look details:
Blouse: New Look (£24.99)
Jacket: Primark(£25)
Belt: Primark (£3)
Let me know how you have styled mustard into your wardrobe-
looks + love always, Layla.
